Pulau Tikus Lok-Lok

It's raining heavily outside now, and when I'm hungry I like to look at the food pictures that taken by me. Penang topped everywhere else in my must visit list. Just about less than 2 hrs drive from Alor Setar. It had become a place where most Alor Setar people will visit when holiday.

I always like the food in Penang. I like their hawkers food and Pulau Tikus is somewhere I'm very familiar because when college time I stayed at Burmah Road for 3 years. I'll have my dinner everyday around Burmah Rd, Gurney or Pulau Tikus. 10 years had passed but Pulau Tikus is still the same, very crowded and I love their food there. Curry noodles, char koay teow and koay teow soup ...etc, etc ..
I visit Pulau Tikus with my friends recently and we tried the Lok-Lok there ...we had great time together.

I want to bring my kids to Penang when they have school holiday and let them try this lok-lok...

my grandma and grandpa used to stay there in Pulau Tikus, jalan pasar. i am sure you know those houses opposite the big car park area near the market, and that's where this lok lok stall is too right?

well, my grandma passed away 2 years back and the house was sold too :( memories are fresh still though...
