Chicken Noodles served with (Yau Char Kuai)

This is one of the Vietnamese food I try when I was in Hanoi last month. Vietnamese people they eat just everything. One of their main dishes are chicken. After I tried the chicken there, the taste of the chicken are not the same as we have in Malaysia. The chicken in Hanoi taste more like our "ayam kampung". More tasty and chewable...lol

On my one week stay there, I was so lucky to have the locals bring me to try out many special and famous Vietnamese dishes there. Don't be surprised that the Vietnamese people do take dog meat. Umm,.. I dare not try it!! hahaha. As a Buddha follower, I didn't take beef as well. I just try out the chicken and seafood there. Not too bad, although some food I found it to be too oily and salty. They like to use many different kind of sauces with their food.

Chicken Noodles (hawker stall style) this is very nice and I don't feel thirsty after drink the soup..
My lovely model - Aeiween

Hai Anh & Linh - busy eating ... hehe!!
different type of chilies & sauces
their tables and chairs...smaller that our kindergarten school one..
I can see they pray "Kuan Yin" and other decorations on their wall.

Felt So Right ~ Sarah Geronimo

I love you
I don’t know what else to say
Cuz I long for you more each day
I need you
I want to feel your embrace
And have a chance to touch your face

I was lost and alone
But you showed me the way
Now I call you my own
Things will never be the same

How could I’ve known
You will hold me close so tenderly
Even though I’m alone
I can feel your arms enfold in me
And that love, became mine in just one night
When you held me tight
Oooh.. it felt so right

I feel you
You’re always here in my heart
Its where reflection since we fall apart

I was lost and alone
But you showed me the way
Can’t go on, on my own
Wishin’ that you would stay

How could I’ve known
You will hold me close so tenderly
Even though I’m alone
I can feel your arms enfold in me
And that love, became mine in just one night
When you held me tight
Oooh.. it felt so right

I was lost and alone
But you showed me the way
Can’t go on, on my own
Wishin’ that you would stay
Tell me that you would stay… ey

How could I’ve know (how could I’ve known… ohh)
(Ooh)You will hold me close so tenderly (oohh)
(Ooh)Even though I’m alone
I can feel your arms enfold in me (your arms enfold me)
And that love, became mine in just one night
When you held me tight
Oooh.. it felt so right
Felt so right…

The Four Agreements

Just to share this meaningful quotes; we keep on learning everyday...as we grown older. Day by day, we learned, we experienced and become more mature and wiser. Cheerz..!!!

Be Impeccable With Your Words

Speak with integrity.
Say only what you mean.
Avoid using the word to speak against yourself
or to gossip about others.
Use the power of your word
in the direction of truth and love.

Don't Take Anything Personally

Nothing others do is because of you.
What others say and do
is a projection of their own reality,
their own dream.
When you are immune to the opinions of others,
you won't be the victim
of needless suffering.

Don't Make Assumptions

Find the courage to ask questions
and to express what you really want.
Communicate with others as clear as you can
to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama.
With just this one agreement,
you can complete transform your life.

Always Do Your Best

Your best is going to change
from moment to moment;
It will be different when you are healthy
as opposed to sick.
Under any circumstance,
simply do your best,
and you will avoid self-judgement,
self-abuse, and regret.

Happy Dumpling Festival...^.^

Ho..ho..ho...!! It's 5th day of 5th month in chinese lunar calendar. Have you all eat the dumpling? HAPPY DUMPLING FESTIVAL !!! ya all ~

Dumplings are one of my favourite food...yummy!
.
.
.

"Minced Pork Porridge"

Apart from eating dumpling...(I have 3 dumplings today). I cook minced pork porridge today. I've used white and brown rice, you'll see brown spots in my porridge. The brown rice provided a bite to the porridge. To make things simpler, I just minced some lean pork and tung choy (preserved vegetable) together.
Marinade them with some soy sauce, white pepper, a dash of sesame oil and some cornstarch to bind them together. I add in some carrots and potatoes too as it's my daughter's favourite. We can add in the salted egg too if you like it.

Wonder What I've Been Doing Lately??

I've snapped so many pictures but I don't have the time to edit them and post it here. I missed update my BLOG but I can't find any free time to online. Most of my online friends in MSN and Yahoo wonder where I'm hiding myself recently.

I've been busy. Apart from going to Jakarta and Hanoi. It's school holiday now and most of my time were spent to be with them. My sister in law in KL bring her kids come to visit us. We went to Hadyai for prayers, shopping and food. I can see my kids are happy and enjoyed the trip very much.
