My Nga - Ho Chi Minh

4th January, my hubby (Boon) and I bring our friend - My Nga from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to Penang. Reach there around 2pm and we called Sam out to bring us for the famous Penang Laksa and Char Koey Teow located at Penang Rd, very unlucky.. that day the char koey teow stall are closed that day. So, we changed our eating venue to Lorong Selamat...really bad luck, at Lorong Selamat the laksa stall closed in return so, we just got to eat the char koey teow and ais kacang. Each plate got 3 big size prawn and it tasted yummy..

After that we all go for shopping at Gurney Plaza. I didn't buy anything there and later on we meet up with one of my friend Chau and we hang out at Coffee Bean for some coffee. Sam bring Josephine out and together we have steamboat for dinner that night. After that, we go to a karaoke at Pulau Tikus to have some drinks and chill out.. We really hv a nice time together, it's been so long that we didn't go out together. Got to listen to Sam singing again..he is a good singer - Boon drink too much and he's drunk when we got home. We went home around 3.15am and I'm the driver. All the way home, Boon was sleeping like a pig. We reach home around 4.30am ... crazy ~ really tiring!

My Lovely Niece

My sister in law giving birth to this lovely baby girl on 15th September last year. She is almost 5 months now. Her name is Ern Yin with big round eyes and she is very cute... Here some shots of her, here we go ~

My Photography Trip - Cameron Highlands

I bought my first DSLR Canon 350D on May this year. Ever since then I was so much in love with photography.I've learn a lot thru the Photokaki Forum . Viewing the pictures in there and slowly learn the best composition for certain pics. And I've join a model shot trip to Cameron organised by Panda on 8 & 9th Sept 07.

Beside meeting a lot of new PK - photokaki members, this was also my first time to shot a model of other race and it was also my first time visit Cameron Highlands - it's very hot there not as cool as i think it should be. I have learned a lot and I get to try out few poisonous lenses ~hahaha! 50mmf1.4 - in my list too, 85mmf1.8, canon 10-22mm wide angle lens - in my wishlist, 80-200mmf2.8 - ya, i like this lens too and i get to hold Panda's 300mm bazooka lens .... that's great, yeah! hahaha...Really have a good fun time with the crowds and Eric teaches us the PS skills but due to my lack of knowledge in PS, I dun really understand what he is talking about and end up feeling sleepy but i try to hold it ...hahahaha p/s: it's not Eric talking nonsense but,.. it's me, my fault ehehe! Eric have done a great job. I have learn some editing tips from him. A little tips ald helps me a lot and my pic look greater now ~wohohoo..~~I post few pics in PK and Eric said I've improved a lot (hehehe...so happy to hear that) although i know i still have much to learn.

I want to try more difference kind of shooting...i just love the shot by JasonW - wide low angle + that kind of lighting, very nice hor? Dunno when I'm going to learn all that... ^^ We had BBQ dinner at Cameron....very nice - we got the chance to play fire hehehe.. the best part of the BBQ and cooking yeah. They like the BBQ lamb fat so much~ahaha , mmm..is that over-cooked black colour lamb fat tastes that nice??? ermm..a bit regret I didn't taste it that day.. ermm...oh gosh, i'm hungry

now..geez ~

Where Is Sharlinie?

2 weeks have passed since 5 years old Sharlinie Mohd Nashar went missing when she is playing at the playground near her house. A few months back on September '07, 8 years old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin who was abducted and her body was found stuffed into a sport bag. I wonder, is Malaysia now still a safe place to stay ? How can we always follow our kids to everywhere they go or ask our kids to stay indoor all the time? I hope our police will really do their job this time to safe Sharlinie and arrest the crazy abductor !! . . .


Let us pray for Nini safe return and I hope police will continue searching for her as every minutes count, her life might be in danger. This the link of the missing Sharlinie

Children Gone Missing

Girls missing, raped and murdered is not a new subject here in Malaysia but now it's getting worst and worst. Last year we just get shocked from the news of the lovely girl Sherway Ooi Ying Ying murdered by her mom's boyfriend and then another shocking news, a naked body of a girl was found stuffed in a sports bag and now the latest 5 years old Sharlinie have been missing from the playground for more than 2 weeks.

As a mother who have 2 beautiful daughters at home, this make me wonder will this happen to my lovely girls one day...? I think it's really time for us to educate our children on all the safety measurement that they have to take and be extra careful with strangers. Malaysia is not a safe place anymore with all the snatch thieves, burglars and raped cases happened almost daily. Sometime I think, how can they ever do this to a small girl that's so innocent and don't even know what is the meaning of SEX. ~grrr...

STAR - 18 Sept 07 - Child found sexually assaulted and killed*

Petaling Jaya: She was just a little girl. But that did not stop some sick monster from killing her after sexually assaulting her. Her naked body was stuffed into a sports bag and left at the staircase of a shop lot in PJS1/48 Petaling Utama yesterday. There were bruises on her neck, suggesting that she may have been strangled. There were also bruises on her hands. -what the hell they have done to the girl?

Petaling Jaya police chief Asst. Comm Arjunaidi Mohd confirmed a post mortem report that the killer had placed a cucumber and a brinjal ...omg! in the girl's private parts. "She must have endured so much pain before she died," he said.The murdered girl believe to be between 6 - 9 yrs old. Police are now looking into the angle that the girl and her parents could be illegal immigrants, since no one had come forward to claim the body.

A RM20,000 reward - RM10,000 each from MCA and an anonymous donor has been offered for information that can lead to the killer. Anyone with information can call 016-636 7333 - Mohd Ubaidi Mohd Nor (assistant of Datuk Michael Chong MCA public complaints and services dept head)

oh well..., i think if we can afford, just get them a mobile phone or always keep an eye on them...that's safer.

Nowadays crimes happened at any place and anytime. Even the car that parked inside the police station also got driven away by the thieves. "Children should also have notes in their clothing that has the child's name, the telephone numbers of parents to enable the public or the police to contact them." ya~ this is a good idea and might help for the kids under 7 yrs old.

Together we help to fight the crimes... call police if we suspect anything or any people committing crime ... !

This Is How Now Jia Yi Look Like

How time flies!! I still remember my sis in-law called me when she is on the way to the hospital giving birth to Jia Yi at that time. It was on 16th Sept last year and now her baby is celebrating her 1st birthday. Jia Yi has changed so much...from a not so pretty baby girl now to a cute and pretty girl. It's like so called "Ugly Duckling turn out to be a Beautiful Swan". I simply love her...with her cute and "blurr blurr" look...hehe~ she is lovely and I really enjoy watching her grown up and changed day by day. The last time when I saw her, she doesn't have double eye-lids and now u can see it ...."big eyes with double eyelids" !!

I shot those pics when I'm in KL. Change its colours to "Aged Photo Effect" using Adobe Lightroom. Simply love this kind of effect suited the feels in the pictures. Last time we all likes coloured pics...some of the old pics are painted just to get it coloured. But now, very convinient...we can use diffferent kind of photo software to get all kind of effect we want.

Wow....Malaysia 50th Birthday !

Location: Living room (i'm typing on my laptop)
Weather: very good weather today...not too warm n cloudy ^.^

Yeah, we going to celebrate Merdeka Day tomorrow. Finally we have reach 50 years anniversary and how time flies ya and i'm already 35 yrs old...hehe and i don't think i can wait to see Malaysia celebrate our 100th Birthday at that time i'll be 85 yrs old ald. Oh, that's too old already, will I still be there ???

This morning my sis in law (Fen) called me. She told me she feels some back pain and since she is ald in her last month of pregnancy. I was so excited that she might born a Merdeka Girl....hehe. I told her, must "tahan" till today's midnight oh..hahaha, so exited! I don't how she feels now...excited + happy + nervous + curious...ahh all the mixed feeling...must be strong n brave ya! I'm looking forward to see her newborn...yeee, can't wait! Khen ald sent her to the hospital and i don't know she is going to admit today or tomorrow...just waiting for her call. I wish her safe-delivery. Mother n baby all healthy.

My life has changed from the last few months. Something that had happened can't be changed and life is not the same as before. Anyhow i tried to get back on feet, try not to think too much. Thinking too much will make me suffer.... i just prayed and hope things will get back like it use to be. I hope he has learned his lesson and changed all his bad habit. Hope he learn to think more wisely and be more mature. My life now filled with the things of my 3 kids....they does make me angry and make me laugh too... but they are still my sweetheart. My everything...! Sometime, i do think of get back to work but, for the time being...i still have to take a good care of them.

I really hope by the day of Merdeka 2008... my life would be better. I want to practise more and become a amateur photographer. Ya, that's a way for me to earn some income...which really might help me a lot in the financial side. I will practise to become a pro before i shot for other ppl. I hope my wish will come true. My family and kids are in good health. I have a very long wish list...hahaha..! Hope it will come true one day! I wish all who knows me happy and healthy.

Hey, I'm Back ! ! !

Friday : Sunny Day ^.^

It's been sometime that I stopped blogging....maybe when we are happy with our life we won't bother to blog. Yes, I'm not feeling that happy nowadays...easily shed tears, I just feel that I'm not as strong as I think. Sometimes I think..., how much I understand him?? Been married for a decade but I felt that I don't really understand him much. He don't know how I wished that I can have more things to share with him...my happiness and sadness but, it seems like this few years we talked less and less...and I started to feels that he is totally out of my world already. We both just like live in different world although we stays under one roof. He got nothing much to talk to me not have to mention to care for me anymore. I don't know what he is doing outside with his group of friends. I don't know who he is going out with. I don't know how is he going on lately. How I always hope I can find back my husband that I knew 10 years ago. We've got so much to talk about, a caring boyfriend and a loving husband. He seems to know our problems but he never try to work out the solutions together. Now I'm really in doubt...., can I carry on my life like this forever alone? Luckily, I still have 3 lovely kids to fill up my lonely days....my beloved parents come to visit me everyday, my lovely sis-in law and my love for photography. I can't imagine my life without them by my side. For now, I just wish my kids are happy and healthy. I hope they'll lead a good life in future...

That's what I always pray for them.

Peanut Cookies

CNY coming soon...today i've make peanut cookies...lol

Recipe for peanut cookies:

Ingredients:

700gm ground peanut

600gm plain flour

350gm icing sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

cooking oil for mixing

1 beaten egg for glazing

Mixed all the above ingredient and add in cooking oil till the dough can stick into small balls. Roll the dough into a size of 10 cent and use the mould to press on top of it and glaze it with the beaten eggs. Baked in the oven with the temperature 175 for 20mins.

Easy right?..

This my first blog for year 2007. I wish all the best in year 2007, better economy, peaceful and less nature disasters. I hope all of us will be blessed with good luck and good health. Most importantly i hope my kids will grown up safely and healthy. I wish Zhen will get well soon, going to school like other children. Ya~ I hope the relationship between both my dad and mom in law getting better. No more argue, more peaceful...

Tomorrow Alice will be back from Bangkok, maybe tonight is my last night looking after Jia Yi..she is so cute...i will definitely miss her!! Today, I have bought some clothes for Alice's kids...the clothes for baby Jia Yi are just cute. Very small but cute, hope I can see her wearing it. Bought the Sesame's shirt n pant for Zhen. Hope he'll like it and a dress for Jia Xin.

Tomorrow school will reopen. I have to start my work again. LoL~ be a driver sending them to and off school. It's ok...I have got enough rest... LoL~

Emm..wanna sleep now, I'll write more next time.
