I bring my kids for Stephen Chow's new movie at cinema today. Khim and me go there to get the tickets first. We go to City Plaza Cineplex and reach there at 2pm but have to wait for about 30 mins before we can purchase our tickets. There is really big crowd, we have to line up for the tickets, very long Q. Even malays and indians also join the fun to watch this movie. Stephen are famous with comedy show directed by him. We all sure got good laugh watching his movie.

This movie are very funny and a bit touching too. It's about a poor labourer who single hand raise his son after his wife passed away. This movie are very touched at first until his son started adopt an alien~UFO pets and from there on we starts laughing non-stop, really funny...the pet named CJ7 are just too cute. My kids would love to adopt one also. But too bad, the CJ7 is just a computer animated character and we cannot get one in real life..., if can I would want to adopt one too~

CJ7 is a comedy about a poor laborer father Ti, played by Stephen Chow, and his young son, Dicky. When a fascinating and strange new pet enters their lives CJ7. Dicky, an elementary school student, sees a chance to overcome his poor background and shabby clothes and impress his fellow students for the first time in his life. The "pet" however has other ideas and when Dicky brings it to class, comedic chaos erupts including a showdown with the terrifying school bully, Storm Dragon! For more of it, you have to visit the cinema now ...hehe~

Edison Scandal

OMG, yet another sex scandal. This time it’s the innocent girl-next-door look, Gillian Chung and playboy Edison Chen. Another New Year surprise - Chinese New Year surprise versus Dr Chua’s New Year surprise!

For those who haven't heard, someone sold some compromising photos to the press... basically Edison Chen and some notable female stars engaging in compromising acts... wow, that was NOT a good idea....

Much legal action is taking place... I won't post anything for the sake of the actresses involved... Note to all stars - don't leave any sex act photos or videos on your cell phone or digital camera! (and maybe take the drunken party ones out too for good measure!)

Actually a good idea for everyone, including non-celebs... especially considering how easy it is to lose a cell phone or small digital camera. You never know who might find it and look through.

UPDATE 2: oh god, there's more! its obvious these are captures from a video... i'm sure it'll be coming out sooner or later. just a matter of waiting for the other shoe to drop. :-(

UPDATE 3 (2/1/08): There have been more released in the past few days since I originally posted this, including 'solo' pictures of a third very well known actress in various explicit poses.

Apparently the consensus is that someone probably copied the photos off of Edison's hard drive while he was getting his computer repaired and using overseas sites to distribute them, he or she has made it somewhat hard to trace and definitely impossible to eradicate.

In the last few days this stuff has completely taken over the news stands (particularly the weekly rags). Originally there was a fear that more actresses would be included in the 'scandal', some magazines put out covers with lots of names and pictures of all the famous Hong Kong actresses/singers who have been 'linked' to Edison over the years, speculating that they may be the next... the list was in double digits. But so far only its been limited from three to the latest now six, huh! ....and I'm sure the number will increase, who's the next??

Though many claim that it’s a hoax. But I doubt it. They look very real to me !

There are a LOT of parody photos have been floating around the net too, fake advertisements for Ah Kiu's abalone (阿嬌鮑魚) & Edison's sausage (冠希臘肠)...this is funny, lol~

Shoes For My Kids

I haven't buy shoes for my kids for ages. All their slippers and shoe are worn and dirty. My youngest daughter have been nagging me to buy her a shoe all the time.

Yesterday I bring her to the shopping mall and I ask her to choose the shoes she like. I bring her to the Cartoon World Outlet and there she finally spotted a pair of Minnie Mouse sandal. emm,.. No matter what I choose for her and ask her to try on, she still like the sandal she choose for herself. When I first lay my eyes on the sandal, I was like; "uh..aren't this look very 'AUNTIE'..??" But, she likes it very much, so I just bought it for her and she is very happy with it. I also bought a pair of similar one for my elder daughter too and a pair of Mickey sandal for my son as well(must be fair right?) That's why I always said, 3 is more than enough,...hehe~

Yes, before we go to the Cartoon World, I have choose this 2 pair of Kiki Lala sandals too, since the girl had write the receipt and the shoes are at the counter. I just pay it and end up...my girls have 2 pair each for this CNY. I can see they are really happy...it's very natural that girls love to dress up and look pretty and I'm happy too.

CNY Gift For Kids

Every year like Christmas, I'll prepare the CNY gift for kids. Beside the "angpow" they'll get a packet consist of chocolates and sweets from me. I like to see the smile on their face when they receive the gift from me. This year, I packed the gift using this colourful piramid boxes which I bought from a Gift Shop at Pacific Shopping Mall. Scary is
When you see your kids shout at their friends,

Mind-numbing torture is
When you spend all day saying, please don’t touch that,

Magical is
When your kids tells you a joke, and it’s actually funny.
As you laugh, they continue tells another one, and another one, until all rolling on the floor, crying from laughter.

Bleakness is
When, for days, you try and try and try and try
AND TRY your very best with a positive heart,
to battle with your children’s naughtiness, disobedience,
stubbornness, temper, anger, disrespect and appalling behaviour…
and absolutely nothing seems to change.

Tender is
When you kneel down, look your child in their eye
and say how sorry you are for being in a bad mood this morning, and he says “Aww mum, that’s ok. I still love you. Let’s just be happy ok?”

Precious is
When your kids throws their arms around you, and you both roll onto the bed, tickling, giggling, laughing, poking, bumping, hooting, bouncing, cuddling, cackling, twirling, and you just know deep inside you, that in another 5 years, this all might be “NOT A COOL THING TO DO”.

Panic is
When you wake up in the dead of night, to screams, cries, vomit, raging temperature, shouts, a soaking bed, blood… and you have no idea what to do.

Painful is
After waking up 8 times in the night and a trip to emergency hospital, you still have to get out of bed in the morning, make breakfast, pack lunches, send one child to school, entertain the other child, keep appointments, buy groceries, make dinner, pick up child from school, hang around for after school activities, bath children, feed children and bed children.

Pride is
When you hear your kids telling their friends that “Ants are the strongest creatures in the world. If they were big like humans, they could carry a bulldozer! Yeah! My mum told me that!”

Wisdom is
When you try to explain genetics and recessive traits to them and they just laughs at you.

Mind boggling is
When you watch your kids play and are struck with utter amazement. They are funny, friendly, unique, sociable, active, open, confident, smart, happy and healthy

Cashew Nut & Peanut Cookies

I love baking and cooking. Trying out new recipes, cook and eat. Making cookies is one of my hobby. For the past few days, I hv been busy baking cookies for CNY. This 2 types of cookies are my kid's favourite, they like it very much. Being a mom, they always think of cooking the food that their kids likes to eat. Mommy always put their kids on the first in everything..^^

  Rearrange the plants in my garden and wash the floor. -done-

  Trimmed my son's hair. -done-
  Buy new clothes for my son. -done-
  Bath my doggie. -done- (I cut it's hair as well)
  Change the aquarium's water. -done-
  Clean my fridge and kitchen. -done-
